Oak Wood charcoal is known best and preferred as the primary fuel in most of Turkey for grilling and barbecuing. **important note** this is a 100% natural product, produced using the time honoured way of carbonising the wood underground.. The result is a high carbon, but more brittle product, and as a natural product you’ll find that each box varies.. this is the beauty of the natural lump wood… You’ll also find it breaks down as its handled, so you will sometimes find smaller pieces in the box, and on the odd occasion you may find pieces of grass or other materials.. this is only due to the natural way in which its produced… Unlike other lump woods on the market that are created industrially, the oak is produced slowly over 2 weeks for a far superior natural product.
