The THÜROS mini smoking box is the perfect accessory to flavour meat or fish. It can be used on any barbecue, ran by gas, electric or charcoal.
Before you use the smoking box, you will need to soak the alder plank for at least three hours in water. Then dry the wood on the lit barbecue just before placing it in the smoking box. You must place the dried side facing upwards in the box. Place your meat or fish on the plank and close the lid on the box.
The mini smoking box can also be filled with wood chips instead of the plank to use it as a smoke generator for smoking in a barbecue. You will then require a BBQ Hood or Swivelling Hood for this process.
