The THÜROS T4 Swivelling Hood can be used for various different grilling types.

On the one hand, it can be used for direct barbecuing when leaving the hood open and grilling the goods directly over the embers. The Swivelling Hood functions as a wind deflector in this case.

On the other hand, it can be used for indirect barbecuing when closing the hood. You can cook the food gentle, bake or even smoke it.

It is recommended to use the THÜROS Water pan (WS4260E) to separate the cooking area in a direct as well as indirect cooking zone. The Water pan defines the indirect zone by its position. It can be placed on one side of the charcoal tray or in the middle. 

Attention! The THÜROS Swivelling Hood is fixed with x 6 screws and nuts on the barbecue top. Usually, the swivelling hood will not be dismounted after the assembly. Hence, the usage of other attachments such as wind deflector, BBQ Hood, lid, skewer attachment and so on is not possible.
