We love sous vide cooking, we love the benefits of vacuum packing, but we realise that we need to commit to a sustainable future and play our part in the solution of reducing the amount of single use plastic in the world and not be part of the problem. We have already successfully launched a commercial range of Plastic Free Vacuum pouches, but creating one suitable for the home vacuum sealer that could also sustain the temperatures of sous vide cooking has been a challenge. We really wanted to offer a compostable product so it not only reduced the amount of plastic waste, it turned it into something good to go back into the earth.

Ideal for Sous Vide Cooking

These rolls are made from a certified home compostable flexible film with excellent sealing strength and high transparency. Made from rice, potatoes, corn and a fossil fuel copolymer. Made to the highest quality, and their strength means they are ideal for sous vide cooking. They are transparent, meaning you can easily see what you have stored in your freezer.
