The ProQ Cold Smoke Generator is the perfect gadget for turning almost any cabinet or BBQ into a cold smoker. It’s ideal for cooking all kinds of fish, bacon, cheese and even butter! Once you’ve made it yourself, you’ll never go back.

How it works :
Fill with 100g of a fine wood dust. Light from the outer corner using the tealight supplied and once the wood starts to smoulder remove and extinguish the tealight. Place in your grill and add your food. Ventilate gently. The wood will gently burn producing cooled wood smoke without heat as it travels along the mesh channel. Leave for the full 10 hours or part fill for shorter smoking sessions.
Key Features:
- Produces cool, clean smoke for hours on end. It has an average burn of 10 hours for the Original (Small) and 16 hours for the Artisan (Large).
- Comes in 2 sizes to suit almost any size container. Typically we recommend the Original for containers under 150 litres, and the Artisan for containers from 150 to 500 litres.
- Can be used in ProQ Smokers, Bradley Electric Smokers, Weber Smoky Mountains (WSM), Brinkmann Smoke n Grills, just about all existing BBQs provided they have a lid.
- Can also be used in many types or home made containers from cardboard boxes to filing cabinets and more – all you need is a little airflow in the bottom and a chimney.
- Made from high quality stainless steel for longevity and rust resistance.
- Please remove candle once dust is lit. Not for indoor use.
