This Portuguese inspired barbecue rub is a spicy and vibrant blend, perfect for chicken, pork, prawns and fish. Whether grilled or barbecued, it helps you recreate that famous Piri Piri flavour at home with ease.

Portugal holds a special place in our hearts – we even got married in a farmhouse near Lagos back in 2012. A year later, The Smokey Carter was born, and it wasn’t long before our Piri Piri Rub became a firm customer favourite.

This fiery rub is packed with bold spices and includes the finest Portuguese oregano, sourced directly from a farm where it grows naturally in the orchard. It brings a beautifully aromatic and authentic touch to every dish.

Piri Piri chicken is a favourite for a reason. For a simple and delicious meal, flatten a chicken breast, dust with our Piri Piri BBQ Rub and pan fry in a little oil. Also fantastic on prawns, pork chops or white fish fillets for a proper taste of Portugal.

Ingredients:Paprika, salt, garlic, tomato, chilli powder, Portuguese oregano, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, coriander, Mexican oregano, citric acid, pepper.
