These eco-friendly biodegradable bagasse bowls are ideal for large catering events, house parties, social events, weddings, festivals, takeout food, craftwork, parties, BBQ’s, picnic, office or dinner party or simply when you don’t want to wash too many utensils.

These bowls are made from bagasse, the material left over when sugar cane is harvested for sugar syrup. Instead of polluting the air by burning the bagasse, it’s heated, pulped and moulded into food packaging like bowls. Because sugar cane re-grows easily, it’s renewable, therefore helping conserve the planet’s resources. Conventional materials like polystyrene, in contrast, are made from oil which is finite. Because sugar cane absorbs Co2 from the air, the disposable plates also have a low carbon footprint.

So these bowls are 100% compostable. After use, they can be thrown away with your food waste and collected for composting. Within 12 weeks they will break down into compost, ready to help grow more plants and make more packaging, moving resources in a circular closed loop. Bagasse bowls are microwaveable and suitable for hot liquids and oily food.
