Camelthorn, also known as Vachellia erioloba (formerly Acacia erioloba), is a distinctive hardwood tree native to Namibia and other parts of Southern Africa. Its wood, commonly referred to as Camelthorn wood, is highly prized for its exceptional density and hardness, making it one of the most valued hardwoods in the region.

Sustainably Sourced: Camelthorn Firewood, also known as “Kameeldoring”, is a protected tree species in Namibia. We exclusively harvest deceased trees, ensuring environmental responsibility.

Versatile Usage: Camelthorn is well-suited for outdoor culinary use, barbecues, “braaing”, pizza ovens, as well as interior heating in enclosed fireplaces and wood-burning stoves.
